Terms and Conditions – Futbolito Soccer
Effective as of July 19, 2026
By registering a child in any Futbolito Soccer program, including practices, camps, events, private sessions, or adaptive programs, you (the parent/guardian) agree to the terms outlined below. Futbolito Soccer reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and considered effective upon posting.
1. Services Offered
Futbolito Soccer provides early childhood soccer programs for children ages 2–8. Services include weekly practices, private sessions, seasonal camps, birthday events, and adaptive programs. Registration and payment can be completed through our website.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older to register a participant. By registering, you confirm you are the child’s legal parent or guardian and accept full responsibility for their participation.
3. Cancellations & Refund Policy
In the event of an eligible cancellation or refund, third-party online processing fees and administrative fees charged at checkout are non-refundable.
Individual Practices:
Bookings for individual practices are non-refundable and non-transferable but you can reschedule for another practice up to 24 hours in advance. In cases of serious injury or emergency, a doctor’s note may be submitted for credit consideration.
Punch Cards:
Punch cards are non-refundable and non-transferable but may be used for any practice, regardless of time or age, and with children in the same account (e.g. siblings). You can reschedule booked practices 24 hours before. In cases of serious injury or emergency, a doctor’s note may be submitted for credit consideration.
Seasonal Program Bookings:
Cancellations requested more than 7 days prior to the program start date are eligible for a refund, less a $25 administrative fee. Cancellations within 7 days of the start date are not eligible for refunds. Missed practices are non-refundable and non-transferable. In cases of serious injury or emergency, a doctor’s note may be submitted for credit consideration. Seasonal Program spots are non-transferable.
After-School Program:
Cancellations requested more than 7 days prior to the program start date are eligible for a refund, less a $25 administrative fee. Cancellations within 7 days of the start date are not eligible for refunds. Missed practices are non-refundable and non-transferable. In cases of serious injury or emergency, a doctor’s note may be submitted for credit consideration. After-School program spots are non-transferable.
4. Health, Safety & Medical Disclosure
By registering, you confirm your child is healthy and fit to participate in physical activity. You must disclose any medical, behavioral, or support needs at the time of registration and again before the first session.
You are responsible for providing any necessary supplies (e.g., EpiPens, inhalers) and for clearly informing coaches of any specific needs at each session. If a child becomes ill or injured, we will use the emergency contact details provided.
5. Weather Policy
Outdoor Programs:
All sessions run rain or shine. Please dress your child appropriately for the weather.
In the event of severe weather (e.g., lightning, air quality advisories, unsafe temperatures), cancellations may occur. A makeup session or credit will be provided when possible.
Indoor Programs:
While protected from weather, indoor programs may be affected by facility closures or extreme conditions. Any changes will be communicated as early as possible.
6. Code of Conduct
Respectful behaviour is required from all participants and accompanying adults. Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the program without refund.
Parents/guardians may be required to participate during sessions, especially for children aged 2–3 or in adaptive programs.
Futbolito Soccer is an inclusive environment. Harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
7. Limitation of Liability & Waiver
Participation in physical activity involves inherent risk. By registering with Futbolito Soccer, you voluntarily assume all risks on behalf of your child.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Futbolito Soccer, its owners, coaches, staff, volunteers, and partner facilities from any and all claims, liabilities, or damages resulting from participation in our programs, including injury, loss, or property damage — whether arising from negligence or unforeseen circumstances.
You further agree to sign and abide by the terms in our separate Futbolito Soccer Participation Waiver & Release of Liability, which is required prior to participation.
8. Photo & Media Release
Futbolito Soccer may take photos or videos during sessions for use in promotional materials, including print, digital, and social media platforms. By registering with Futbolito Soccer, the parent/guardian gives permission for photos/videos to be taken. If the parent/guardian doesn’t want photos or videos of their child in promotional materials, they must email us at info@futbolitosoccer.ca to opt out, and Futbolito Soccer will make reasonable efforts to exclude or obscure their child’s image in promotional materials.
9. Privacy & Personal Information
Futbolito Soccer collects only the personal information required to deliver our services and communicate with families. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties.

10. Public Health & COVID-19 Policy
Futbolito Soccer complies with provincial public health guidance. We may adjust or cancel programs as required by health orders. Credit or partial refunds may be issued at our discretion in such cases. Children must stay home if unwell or experiencing symptoms of illness.
11. Special Terms for After-School Enrichment Programs
The following terms apply specifically to all participants registered in Futbolito Soccer After-School Enrichment Programs operating on public school grounds.
Transition of Custody & Duty of Care:
For students attending the host school: Futbolito Soccer’s legal custody and "duty of care" begins at 3:00 PM when students arrive at our designated outdoor meeting spot. Parents are solely responsible for instructing their child to walk directly to the Futbolito coaches upon school dismissal. Futbolito is not liable for students who do not report directly to the program field.
For students attending outside schools: Futbolito Soccer assumes zero responsibility for the child's transit or safety until they are formally signed in by a parent or guardian at the field at 3:15 PM.
Sign-Out & Dismissal Procedures: Children will only be released at 4:30 PM to the parents, guardians, or authorized emergency contacts listed during registration. Any changes to the daily pick-up arrangement must be submitted to Futbolito in writing (via email) prior to 2:30 PM on the day of the session.
Independent Dismissal (Walk Home): Participants in Grade 3 through Grade 5 will not be permitted to leave the program unaccompanied unless the parent/guardian has signed and submitted a formal Independent Dismissal Waiver allowing them to walk or bike home alone. Students in Kindergarten through Grade 2 will not be released without an adult present under any circumstances.
Late Pick-Up Fee Policy: Our after-school sessions conclude promptly at 4:30 PM. A grace period of 5 minutes is permitted. Because our coaches must remain on-site to supervise remaining children, a late pick-up fee of $1.00 per minute will be charged to the credit card on file starting at 4:35 PM to cover extended staffing costs.
School District Permits & Facility Closures: Futbolito Soccer operates under community use permits issued by the host school and the local School Board. In the event that the school administration or School Board revokes a permit, schedules a conflicting school-wide event, or closes the fields due to facility maintenance, labor disputes, or safety concerns, Futbolito Soccer is not liable for the closure. In such rare instances, Futbolito will make every effort to provide a make-up session or prorated credit, but cash refunds will not be issued.
Parent Availability & Emergency Contact: Because parents are not present on-site during after-school programming, registering parents must provide a minimum of two reliable, local emergency phone numbers. A parent, guardian, or designated emergency contact must be readily available by phone during program hours (3:00 PM – 4:30 PM) and able to come pick up the child immediately in the event of illness, injury, or behavioral suspension.
Independence & Behavior: Participants must be capable of participating independently, managing their own personal belongings, and following safety instructions from coaches. Futbolito Soccer reserves the right to temporarily or permanently suspend a child from the after-school program, without a refund, if their behavior poses a safety risk to themselves, the coaches, or other participants.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on this site, including logos, text, class materials, and images, is the intellectual property of Futbolito Soccer. You may not copy, distribute, or use any content without written permission.
13. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued participation or use of our website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
